Das Naturbad in Bad Elster

On 22 June 1906, the light, air and pool Bad Elster was opened, which was redesigned in subsequent in the follow years by the Royal Saxon garden iInspector Paul Schindel, to today's system. The opening  with three separate bathing areas for men, women and families was open  in 1916. Today invite two well-preserved and well-maintained swimming pools  to a relaxed stay. Due to the idyllic location and its special historical nature, the heritage-protected natural pool in Bad Elster is a hot tip and is very popular by residents and visitors. Especially nature lovers will appreciate the harmonious interaction of delightful rest areas and the natural swimming.

Active preserve: The Foundation

Above all  the citizens of Bad Elster love this area as a historical document in  the Paul-Schindel-Parc. Therefore founded 32 active supporters the "Friends of Nature Bath Bad Elster e.V.". This active club with over 70 members now want to permanently promote the moral and financial support as well as investments for the preservation and the restoration of the natural bath Bad Elster. Club activities include work performed for the preservation and maintenance of green spaces, maintaining the cleanliness and the preservation or maintenance of listed buildings, including the historic changing rooms and toilet facilities and the annual pool festival. Donations are important, because the club can achieve the aforementioned objectives alone with applicable membership fees in any way.
